Covid-19 InfoUpdatedWednesday December 15, 2021 byChadd Blannett.
Given the uncertainty of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we are constantly reevaluating our plans and safety protocols regarding practice and play for the 2022 Spring Season. As we get closer to the indoor preseason practices and then the outdoor season, we will work with all of our governing bodies to assess best practices for safe play. Additionally, we will work with both the school district and township to ensure we are in adherence with local policies and restrictions. These protocols may change as we move throughout the season so we will be sure to actively communicate with our players and parents as we go.
Our goal is to provide a great 2022 lacrosse season and doing all we can to safeguard our athletes, coaches, and volunteers is of the utmost importance in meeting that goal.
All players will be required to have a completed HYLA Covid-19 Participation Waiver on file BEFORE participating in any organized HYLA events. This waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Should the season be cancelled in part or in its’ entirety, Hershey Youth Lacrosse will refund unspent funds associated with registration and season fees. If necessary, refunds will be allocated based on an equal percentage of registration fees paid for all players. As in 2020, you will have the option to receive a refund, donate to Hershey Lacrosse, or receive a credit for the 2023 season.
Please note, US Lacrosse memberships are paid directly to US Lacrosse organization and we have no say in their decision to refund/not refund your membership payment for the 2022 season. Additionally, any funds associated with custom uniforms orders will not be available for refund.
