Hershey Lacrosse Association will be hosting a summer evening lacrosse camp for rising 7th through 10th grade boys.  Hershey High School Head Coach John Schein will be directing the camp which will run from Monday 7/13 to Thursday 7/16 at Palmdale Field starting at 5:30PM and ending at dusk. 

Coach Schein was named the 2009 Mid Penn Coach of the Year and District III Coach of the year after leading Hershey High School's Lacrosse team to a perfect 18-0 regular season record and winning the Mid Penn Championship in the first season of PIAA play.  The Hershey Trojans were semi-finalists in the District III championships and qualified for the State Championship Tournament.  Coach Schein brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the game.  He will work on basics of the game as well as offensive and defensive schemes that will be used at the next level of play.  This camp is imperative for anybody who wants to play at the High School level and above.

The registration fee is $99 and includes a camp pinnie.  Registration opens Saturday 6/6/09.

Warrior/Brine, Hershey Lacrosse Association and Hershey High School Head Coach John Schein are pleased to offer a shooting clinic with Washington Bayhawks' Attackman Andrew "Buggs" Combs.

The Clinic will be held on July 9th at Palmdale Field from 3:30PM to 5:30PM

Buggs played for the University of Maryland where is one of only two Maryland players to have scored 50 goals in a single season.

Buggs finished the 2008 MLL season leading the Bayhawks with 34 goals.  He also added 4 assists and 18 ground balls.

This clinic is free to Hershey Lacrosse players.  The amount of players allowed at the clinic will be capped so register early.  Players registered for the Summer Evening Camp will be given first preference.

Jens Volinskie (Hershey '09) Named to National Senior Showcase's East Squad

 

Jens Volinskie (Hershey '09) was named to the East Squad at the US Lacrosse National Senior Showcase. The "National All-Star Game" of boys' high school lacrosse features the top 96 senior high school players in competition representing the North, South, East and West regions. The National Senior Showcase is set-up in a final four format, with two semifinal games, a third place game and a championship game. All of the teams are guaranteed practice and scrimmage time on Friday, June 19 and two games on Saturday, June 20. The competition concludes with an Awards Banquet featuring a special keynote speaker on Saturday evening. |
